This year in November, the UIC / EUR working group held its annual online conference, where the main topic was, that which are the current and future development of digitalized “smart pallets”. The working group consists of 12 railway companies and the independent quality control organisations belonging to them. During the conference, the members agreed on sharing their experiences with existing developments and to work together on the project in the future. The unit which is represented by the UIC / EUR working group is unique currently in Europe by its open exchange system.
