MÁV-REC Railway Engineering Corporation LTD, in cooperation with the National Tax and Customs Administration, caught fraudsters

On 28 July, the National Tax and Customs Administration notified the wood industry division of MÁV-REC Railway Engineering Corporation LTD, that - presumably - illegal activities and pallet counterfeiting are taking place near Cegléd city.

At the signal, two employees of the timber division immediately arrived at the scene, where they inspected the disputed items. After a careful and professional investigation, the representatives of the two organizations established the fact of forgery. During the inspection, iron was also found by the experts, which the forger tried to hide from National Tax and Customs Administration staff.

The National Tax and Customs Administration delivered more than 1,000 pallets from the site.

As an independent inspection body, MÁV-REC LTD's specialist apparatus continues and continuously examines the products issued by pallet manufacturers and repairers, as well as the existence of conditions for pallet production and repair. Thanks to the company’s market surveillance activities, unlicensed plants have completely disappeared from the country.
